(13) A cross of the Whithorn School. On the front is the base of a circular head, on which was a cross with expanded arms; the cross is similar to No.7 but the sinkings separating the arms are completely pierced. The shaft is filled with a panel of irregular interlace, the strands of which are marked by central grooves. Near the centre a shield-shaped sinking has been cut away leaving two chevrons in relief and the letters A M, the arms and initials of the man for whom the stone was re-used in the 18th century. the back of the head is similar to the front and the shaft has a panel of widely spaced, irregular interlace.

Radford and Donaldson 1953b, 41.
