Archaeology Notes

NN89NW 10 c.848 954

A turf-walled building by the River Feshie was observed by J Wordsworth during a pre-afforestation survey. Its position was not accurately recorded as it lay outwith the survey area.

NN 84835 95432 - Structure. A second structure is located 25m to the west of the first. 300m to the north of previous two structures and on the east side of the river, an enclosure and several walls are to be found. - Sites identified during an archaeological survey of Glen Feshie. A total of 27 settlements (or clusters of buildings) were recorded, with a total of 293 individual archaeological features.
