Station House [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1980.

This intermediate station was opened (as Fochabers High Station) by the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Rly. on 18 August 1858; it was later incorporated into the Highland Rly. It was successively renamed as Orbliston Junction Station (on 16 October 1893) and as Orbliston Station (on 12 September 1960) before closing to regular passenger traffic on 7 December 1964, the main line remaining in use.
