The roofed shooting lodge of Inchrory is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1869-71-2-4), sheet lxxva), and noted in the OS Name Book as ' a shooting lodge in Glen Avon' (ONB 1869). The lodge is shown as roofed on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
