A building (NMRS MS 738/31, no.24), situated immediately N of the public road on the S side of Loch Leven, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey by AOC (Scotland Ltd). The buildings which is reduced to concrete and brick footings, measures 11.5m from E to W by between 2m to 4.5m. Several drain pipes protrude from the S end of the structure which has no visible openings. It is likely that this structure is military, possibly related to the searchlight station at NN 1750 6173 (NN16SE 38).
