Old Toll House [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1973.

(Location cited as NJ 685 149). Monymusk, tollhouse. Early 19th century. A single-storey, coursed-rubble building, with semicircular end. Being modernised.

This tollhouse stands immediately N of the B993 public road, which has been suggested as an alternative route for the military road MR 15. See also NJ61SE 11.

This former tollhouse remains in use as a private residence. It is a single-storey granite structure with a three-windowed apsidal end facing onto the B933 public road on the S.
