Archaeology Notes

NG92SW 7 c. 93 20.

The mounds under which Diarmid, the Fingalian hero, (see NG92SW 2 ) and some of his fellow-heroes are said to be buried lie near-by Dunan Diarmid. (NG92SW 1).

D MacDonald, A Polson and J Brown 1931.

The only mounds seen in the vicinity of Dunan Diarmid are natural rock outcrop. Local enquiries proved negative.
