Royal Observer Corps underground monitoring post (ABE 55). In a dilapidated state, with four of the wooden ventilation shutters having been pulled off, this post is enclosed within a low barbed-wire fence. Two anchor points for a radio mast can be seen on each side of the installation, one of which on the N side retains its covering plate.
