The site of heavy anti-aircraft battery was situated in an area on the N side of Silverknowes Golf Course, some 200m W of the Present Commodore Hotel. It is not known what calibre of gun was mounted at this battery. The accommodation huts, mainly Nissen type were to the E of the gun-emplacements.
