Note

A crofting township comprising thirty-six roofed, one partially roofed, two unroofed buildings, their associated enclosures and field walls and a length of head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Isle of Skye 1882, sheet xxxv). To the N the head-dyke separates Peinchorran from the township of Balmeanach.

Twenty-four roofed, one partially roofed, sixteen unroofed buildings and a length of head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1968).
