Archaeology Notes

NG85SE 2 c. 89 54.

A granite axe, 5" long by 2 1/2" broad at the cutting edge, tapering to an obtuse point at the butt, which was found among pebbles at low tide at the upper end of Loch Torridon was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland [NMAS] by G S J Crallan, Gouray Lodge, Jersey. (Acc No: AF 645)
