What is probably a prehistoric standing stone is situated on the E side of the garden of a modern house at Little Clinterty farmsteading (NJ81SW 73); it is annotated 'Stone' on the OS 1:10,000 map (1992). The stone is roughly square in section, measuring 1m from E to W by 0.95m transversely at ground level and 1.85m in height. On the date of visit the stone was enshrouded by honeysuckle and Russian Vine, and a television satellite dish was attached to its E face.
