A farmstead, comprising one partially roofed and one small unroofed building attached to a length of head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire 1876, sheet xlvii). A two compartment unroofed long building and the head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
