NH77SW 55 70284 70415

A type 24 concrete pillbox is situated on the W side of the road from Tomich, on the A9 (T) road and Invergordon just S of the Big Ditch.

Immediately to the N on the Big Ditch, is one of the pumping stations for the oil pipeline from the fuel tanks at Inchindown (NH67SE 57) to the Invergordon tank farm (NH 7112 6890).

The brick and concrete (roof) pumping station lies within a high fenced enclosure. The entrance to the building is on the E side. Entry was not gained on the date of visit. A pillbox (NH77SW 76), is situated about 66m SSE of the pumping station.
