A neolithic axe from Breakish (NG 6823), Skye was acquired for Glasgow Art Gallery and Museum in 1958.

Grid reference supplied by relative of finder. Found in Upper Breakish by a boy digging potatoes in 1957, and then donated to Glasgow Museums.

Oblong, 90mm long by 52mm wide by 22mm thick. Green stone with white flecks, possibly schist.
