Archaeology Notes

NH87NW 21.09 84955 75605

Situated within the technical area (NH87NW 21.03) is what may be an Engine Test House. The building has a large entrance in the SW elevation and a viewing balcony on the upper floor at the NW end. There are several internal divisions and offices within the NW part of the building.

This type of building was used to overhaul and ground-run aero engines.
