Archaeology Notes

NG46NW 6 centred 44 67

There was an old chapel in the parish of Kilmuir called Pein-na-cille, where there were two erect stones. These stones were evidently part of a circle, but were taken down some time ago, and human bones were discovered around them.

NSA 1845.
