NS98NW 282 924 852

Site recorded during a rapid coastal survey undertaken by GUARD of the S shore of the Firth of Forth from Dunbar to Stirling and along the N shore of the Forth to the Fife border. A gazetteer of all sites including listed buildings, designed landscapes, scheduled and unscheduled monuments was produced. GUARD 1996

The site is located at the mouth of the Muirdyke Burn. There are two lines of wooden posts. One line lies c 45m from the coast edge, starting at Muirdyke Burn and extending for c 100m. The other line lies c 10m from the coast edge and extends for c 10m with a further few posts situated c 10m further on. Generally the posts rise to a height of 0.15-0.20m. The wood is severely rotted.
