Oakbank (old Manse of Keig), 1774. Prior to 1771 the manse stood by the kirk; this was replaced by a severely plain two-storey, three-window house, harled with chamfered margins. Rather spoiled by modern renovations, 1974, 1983; garage added 1986.

Taken from "Aberdeenshire: Donside and Strathbogie - An Illustrated Architectural Guide", by Ian Shepherd, 2006. Published by the Rutland Press http://www.rias.org.uk
