Archaeology Notes

NJ91NW 31 9490 1576

The overgrown remains of a gravel pit, dug into the base of a NW-facing slope, are situated immediately to the E of the S driveway of Potterton House (NJ91NW 27.00). The pit is depicted on the second edition of the OS 6-inch map (Aberdeenshire, 1901, sheet lxvi.NE).
