The King Street, Nairn drill hall was built as a Free Church in 1843 but was in use as a drill hall by 1914, when it was the drill station for "F" Squadron, 2nd Lovat Scouts, the base for the ammunition column of the Inverness Royal Horse Artillery, and the base for "B" Company, 4th battalion Cameron Highlanders. The large former church hall is four bays long with a two-storey block behind. A later 20th-century two-storey flat-roofed extension has been added on the side. The building is reported as boarded up and no longer in use.
