A probable cairn, conspicuously situated on a hilltop.

Surveyed at 1:10,000.

Visited by OS May 1972.

Two small structures have been built out of the cairn material: one is on the side of the cairn and the other a few metres to the NE.

Guirdil NG 322 014 NG30SW 4

The remains of what is probably a cairn are situated on a knoll (94m OD) about 310m ENE of Guirdil bothy. The mound of stones measures about 9m in diameter by 0.4m in height and the top has been disturbed by the erection of a hut.

Field Visit (17 October 2010)

This heather grown cairn stands on a knoll some 310m to the ENE of Guirdil bothy. It measures about 10m in diameter and 0.7m in height and has an arc of three possible kerbstones exposed on the E. At least two subrectangular huts overlie the cairn and have been built with stone robbed from it.
