Broomhill Railway Station [NAT]

Broomhill Station (HR) probably opened 9.9.1863; closed 18.10.1965.

(Undated) information in NMRS.

This intermediate station on the Aviemore - Dava summit - Forres portion of the original Highland Rly main line was opened (by the Inverness and Perth Junction Rly) on 3 August 1863. It closed to regular passenger traffic on 18 October 1965, and was designated Broomhill for Nethy Bridge in some timetables.
