Publication Account (1999)

Millbank House figure 22.1 (now the Royal British Legion), is a single-storey building with a raised basement and attic sited on Cawdor Street. It is reached by an external stair and retains many of its original features such as corniced and moulded architraves and urn finials. Two gate piers still stand in place and a further two are incorporated within the War Memorial Garden a little to the south.
