Ancilliary farm building located adjacent a former farm house, now a holiday home, 150m to the SW of Scardroy Lodge within an area of pine plantation.
A well maintained building of dressed, mortar bonded stone below a slate roof(Nosas Site Survey No 658), but without door or glazed windows. Comprises two compartments,the larger W end is 7.5m x 2.5m and the E compartment is 3m x 2.5m. The walls are 0.6m thick and 1.5m in height.
Two buildings are shown on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xcvi)and one of the building is shown on James Flint’s 1825 plan of the Strathconan Estate.
