Former School with attached schoolmaster's house, Alexander Ross, 1876 and later. Formerly the Senior Secondary School, later an annexe to Fort William Primary School, the big gabled range of classrooms grouped about a tower was originally single storey, with stepped trios of pointed lancets in each of its broad gables. Less attractive heightened to two storeys, it is nonetheless good townscape material in institutional gothic. It won a reprieve from demolition in the 1990s and awaits a new use.
