The Store, c.1830 Picturesque crowstepped building on a steep bank, with segmental arched storage cellars on the lower lochside frontage, facing remains of 18th-century water-powered smelter. The original building was only half its present length, but one crowstepped gable was rebuilt when it was extended south. The timber tongue-and-groove lined shop/post office interior at the north end is a rare survival.
