Alltabhruais, Ian Lindsay, 1935-6 Little known house built for Miss Evelyn MacAndrew. Suggestive of a Georgianised tower house, it retains nonetheless subtle clues to its modernity, such as the fenestration on the south front. This overlooks a lovely woodland garden with a burn hooking its way down towards the Spean, The house is approached through this plantation, but the entrance front turns its face to the bare braes behind, porch slotted into the angle against the stair tower's curving wall.
