Glenfinnan Barn, Ross & Joass, 1861 An interesting example of a vernacular building remodelled by architects . The upper (originally water-wheel operated) threshing and storage barn is entered by a tall, double-leafed gothic doorway approached from the bank by a short bridge. Byre and stables below, with additional lower ranges now converted to dwellings.
