Architecture Notes

INFORMATION TAKEN FROM THE ARCHITECTURE CATALOGUE:

The town consists of a long street of mainly 18th century houses running by the shore and connected at the west end with Anstruther Easter. The National Trust Survey (1938) consider that none of the houses are of any great note, although whilst the elevations facing the street are dull, seen from behind the pantiled roofs and crowstepped roofs are picturesque.
