A brick and tile works, which comprises five roofed rectangular buildings and one roofed circular structure, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Perth and Clackmannansheet cxxxiv, 1866).. The brick and tile works is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
