Cuilcheanna House (Cul Cheanna - hollow of the headland), later 18th and 19th centuries Reconstruction of 17th-century cottage as a tacksman's house, later transformed into a generously-glazed double pile villa. Originally the house of a branch of the Camerons of Callart, Cuilcheanna is noteworthy for the remarkable quality of its late 18th-century garden wall. This is constructed of great pink-grey granite blocks laid in diminishing courses between slate pinnings, topped with massive slate slabs.
