This former lace, madras factory is now used by non-textile companies.

Visited by RCAHMS (MKO) November 1995.

Architecture Notes

NS53NW 53 5039 3672

This factory dates from 1881, and is comprised of a mixture of single- and two-storeyed buildings with slate-covered roofs and north lit sheds. The factory was originally owned by Peden Young and Reid and changed ownership at least twice before being occupied by a refrigeration company.
