What may be an unroofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xix), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10560 map (1969).

NG 8870 8810 to NG 9090 9054 and NG 8927 9357 to NG 8878 9563 A desk-based assessment and walkover survey were undertaken for a new water pipeline. The following previously unrecorded archaeological sites were revealed:

NG 9049 9055 Sand Farmstead.
