This earth-house is situated at NF 9071 8151, and was re-opened in September, 1964, by Mr Fergusson (J Fergusson, Borve, Berneray). At present it is visible as a walled passage 4.0m long x 1.1m deep x 0.8m wide, within and around which there are numerous shells and animal bones. Two lintel stones still lie over the passage and several long flat stones lying alongside have obviously been removed from it. Surveyed at 1/2500.
