The depopulated settlement 'Rudha Raibeart' centred at NF 943 707, is now known locally as 'Camus Crubaig', taken from the name of the adjoining bay. It comprises the remains of 2 small enclosures and thirteen buildings varying in size from 15.5 x 3.5m to 3.5 x 2.5m internally, and in height from 0.3m to 1.2m. The majority of the wall corners are rounded as in 'black-houses'. Several of the remains have been utilised to form small stock enclosures.
The approximate date of depopulation is said to be 1850.
