The depopulated settlement 'Rudha Raibeart' centred at NF 943 707, is now known locally as 'Camus Crubaig', taken from the name of the adjoining bay. It comprises the remains of 2 small enclosures and thirteen buildings varying in size from 15.5 x 3.5m to 3.5 x 2.5m internally, and in height from 0.3m to 1.2m. The majority of the wall corners are rounded as in 'black-houses'. Several of the remains have been utilised to form small stock enclosures.

The approximate date of depopulation is said to be 1850.

Eight unroofed buildings are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, North Uist etc. 1881, sheet xxxvi). Ten unroofed buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).
