There is a standing stone, 2.2m high x 0.5m x 0.4m, leaning at an angle of 45 degrees to the south, at NF 7292, on the col between Maari and Crogary Mor.
As it is at the highest point on the saddle between the hills, it may possibly be a boundary marker.

Field Visit (25 September 2010)
This standing stone is situated on the W side of a saddle at the foot of the E flank of Maari. Now leaning heavily to the S, it is roughly square in section and has a pointed top. It measures about 0.5m by 0.4m at the base and has a slanting height of 2m, though its tip is only 1m above the surface of the peat.
