A farmstead comprising unroofed building attached to an enclosure, and two other enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire 1881, sheet xcvi), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971).

The remains of a farmstead (NOSAS site survey number 1022), numerous other buildings (977, 978, 1016-1018 & 1021) and four 1014, 1015, 1020 and 1023) relating to different periods and phases of settlement and activity are located close to the road on either side of the Allt Mhic Fannain.
