Circumstances of Loss Details
-----------------------------
The SHUNA was wrecked at the entrance to the Sound of Mull whilst en-route from the Clyde to Gothenburg.
Sources; Dictionary of Disasters art Sea, Mr P I Sellars, 11 February 1975.
Note: This wreck is not to be confused with another SHUNA lost nearby on 17 October 1936.
Hydrographic Office 1995.
This record is probably best regarded as a suggested alternative position for the Shuna (NM54NE 8004), inserted before the discovery (apparently in 1990) of that wreck.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 15 March 2002.
