31 July 1985. An obstruction was reported struck by the keel of the yacht BRAEMAR at 1235am, on 19 July 1985. The yacht was proceeding on a course 233 degrees (mag) and the southern point of Corr Eilean was abeam, approximately 370 metres. This give an approximate position of 55 54 00N, 005 42 00W.

Report by Clyde Coastguard 30 July 1985.
