8 July 1971. An ammunition lighter was located by HMS HECLA. A least depth of 16.9 metres was obtained by echosounder. It was not swept.

Report by HMS HECLA, 18 February 1970.

Hydrographic Office, 1995.

(Classified as Barge?: no cargo specified, but date of loss cited as 14 January 1928). Sisters (possibly): this vessel was also reported as an ammunition lighter.

(Location of loss cited as N57 15.75 W5 43.4).

This may be the 'unknown wreck' that is noted by Ridley as being 'reported' in this loch.

The cause of loss of this vessel remains unknown.
