30 March 1973. The remains of several mulberry pontoons lie on foreshore, three quarters of a mile N of Cairn Point. The pontoons are not reported as wrecks due to their rapidly deteriorating condition.

Report by HMS FOX, 20 December 1972.

14 September 1989. 4 beached barges are reported centred on 54 59 16N, 005 02 10W.
