A family business of four generations operating in Beauly from 1856 until the business was sold out of the family for the first time in 2015.

The business was housed in an extended Georgian detached house, re-fronted on to the street in the later C19th or early C20th. The front ground floor of the house and extension formed the shop, the upper stories of the extension housed the workrooms and the first and attic floors of the house remain in doomestic useage. Workshops were built to the rear in the mid C20th, but are now store rooms.

Campbell and Co. held royal warrants and had long supplied tweedwear to a number of sporting estates, the tailoring continuing to be carried out in the workrooms on site.
