An elongated open site established in the later 19th century as a good station (Illus 7.1). The original site included the construction of a terrace with an embankment to the north, an access road from the east and associated buildings. The 19th century buildings have been demolished, replaced by later 20th century sheds, but the embankment and access road of setts remain.
