This quarry is situated immediately SW of a triangular field of improved pasture and 125m E of the smaller of the two unnamed lochans to the N of the Loch of Brecksie. It measures about 25m from NNE to SSW by 1.5m transversely. Its narrow form suggests it may be a chromate quarry, examples of which are found widely throughout the area.
