Located on the highest top of the An Fgaighear Mhior is a roughly circular hollow excavated from the peat and earth with a bank on the N arc. Evidence of hardcore was visible within the interior. A remains of a square concrete base possibly for a magazine lie downhill to the NE. Downhill and to the W are two concrete foundations for buildings probably for the gun crew.

Two dog burials are located immediately to the S side of the gun emplacement.
