A large area at Glenrath Hope was recorded by RCAHMS in April 1964. One settlement ('A', at NT 227 323) was chosen for more detailed survey at a scale of 1/300. The description of this site was included within the description of the whole, published in the Peebleshire Inventory (RCAHMS 1967 No.364) and the reduced ink drawing was included as Figure 174.
