Excavations undertaken as part of the Niddrie Burn Restoration Project revealed a number of features associated with the Policies of Niddrie house, including an icehouse (NT37SW 175). A number of estate walls, paths and roads were recorded as well as traces of pits, rig and furrow and an area of medieval activity.
