All that is now visible of what may have been a building, which is depicted on both the 1st and 2nd edition of the OS 25-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides (North Uist) 1881 and 1903, Sheet XXXIII.12) is a damp, roughly rectangular hollow, crossed now by a post-and-wire fence that runs along the NE side of the public road.
