Small early-mid 18th century 2-storey, 3-bay rubble harl pointed house with ashlar dressings re-built on present site in 1801. Centre door with simply chamfered jambs and inscribed and dated plaque above. Crowsteps, end stacks; Caithness slate roof. Addition to north gable.

Plaque inscribed; "Removed from the other side of the burn. Rebuilt by JCS (or JES) of Forse. 1801. (Historic Scotland)
